Face-to-Face Workshops for Deaf Domestic Abuse Women in Scotland

You are not alone. We are here for you.

Our Face-to-Face workshops are for Deaf women in Scotland who have been hurt by domestic abuse – this could be emotional, physical, sexual, or financial abuse by a partner, family member, or someone close.

We know that Deaf women can feel alone, unheard, or afraid. These workshops are a safe space where you can feel understood and supported.

What happens in the workshops?

  • You meet other Deaf women who have had similar experiences

  • You learn about your rights and where to get help

  • You can join in creative and healing activities

  • You build your confidence and self-worth

  • Everything is in British Sign Language (BSL) but we can also provide an interpreter . The workshops are run by Deaf women who understand what you're going through.

You do not have to tell your story if you don’t want to.

Who can come?

If you are:

  • A Deaf woman

  • Living in Scotland

  • Have experienced domestic abuse (now or in the past)

— then these workshops are for you.

How much does it cost?
